Victor Bregeda

Victor Bregeda was born in 1963 in the city of Taganrog. The artist has been doing painting as long as he can remember himself. He is in the professional activity since 1989. The two first personal exhibitions took place in Taganrog in 1994 - 1995. In 1996, a thematical exhibition "The Unknown Tanais" has followed, with venues in Taganrog, Rostov-on-Don and in the museum of Tanais. Victor Bregeda took an active part in numerous city and regional art exhibitions.

The key directions are: working with easel painting, landscapes, still lifes and portraits, performed in a metarealistic style under influence of subconscious philosophy. In his works Victor Bregeda shows the real nature of things, hidden from the empirical understanding.
