Jean
Faurege
Jean
Faurege was born in 1932 in Paris, France, and graduated from the Ecole
Nationale des Metiers d'Arts of Paris in 1955.
Like
all true Parisians he loves and respects his city. He skillfully uses
his talent as a soft Impressionist to depict accurately the boulevards
and the happy ambiance of the "Belle Epoque" of Paris in the 1900s.
To
"Flaner" (stroll) along "les Grands Boulevards", lines
with elegant shops and outdoor cafes, dressed in the latest fashion
- to see and be seen - was an important part of Parisian life. It is
this spirit that Jean Faurege captures in his paintings.
