Jolanta Hjorth

Drawing and painting was always fascinating to me.
I started already at school aged 7-10 years old, but I got serious about it at the age of 20. I started my adventure with oil-paintings by painting human models, flowers and architecture.
I had a short (about 3 years) period when I was only painting architecture (Warsaw-Poland) in watercolour technique.
Last 10 years, since I moved to Denmark, I'm faithfully staying with one subject - nature and oil-technique. I've
painted only one watercolour book for children: "Dancing fruits and vegetables". I feel very comfortable with trees, the sky and clouds. They are never still on my pictures !
I have had exhibitions in Poland and in Denmark .Some of my paintings are in private collections in Germany, Japan, and the USA.
