ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

Laurin Rinder

After high school, Mr. Rinder became a performance and studio musician, performing on more than 1000 recordings. He later started composing, and during a music career that spanned nearly 35 years, he wrote over 200 published and recorded songs, with many of those recordings appearing in the top 20 music charts around the world. He also composed and produced the music for more than 400 television shows and 30 feature films, in addition to producing 35 top jazz and R&B albums.

Mr. Rinder’s painting career has become a lifelong obsession in art, other artists and the history of art. Teaching classes and sharing techniques have also become an important part of his life. Whether it is expressionism, impressionism, landscapes or abstracts, to him there is no difference, as long as "the work lives on its own."

Mr. Rinder has worked in pencil, watercolor, charcoal, gouache, pastel, pen and ink, acrylics and oil and enjoys them all equally.
