It is also called the Turquoise Coast. We sail under towering cliffs while I scribble fast watercolors, trying to capture the mysterious light. The southwest coast was inhabited during the Iron Age by Lycians, whose language and culture were strikingly unique. History lives here, the coast is filled with ancient ruins.
